What it means

Amazon Prime Video streams the most of the titles we track in the UK, 1,506 in all, ahead of Netflix with 1,492. Size isn't everything, though. The last column counts titles that no other UK service streams, which is often the better guide to whether a subscription is worth it for what you want to watch.

Free services funded by ads can rank highly because they carry large back catalogues, while subscription services tend to have more of the newest and most talked-about titles. Check the full list filtered by service to see exactly what each one has.

How we worked this out

These figures come from ShowAtlas's own check of 9,500 popular TV shows and films across 88 countries, last updated 2026-10-07. They cover the titles in our dataset, not a service's entire catalogue, and streaming catalogues change every week. Each title links to its page with the full country-by-country picture.
